Our Story

We’ve known each other for a long time. Although we were all studying different things in college, we discovered each other’s common interest and connection to web. We began to build things on the web with our free time and found that we really had a passion doing so. After building sites for clients part-time for a few years, our capabilities and skills grew. Along with our passion for the work, we were confident of success and we made the jump into full-time work in beautiful San Diego and haven’t looked back since.

We’ve learned a lot of things throughout the years - communication, really listening to our customers, organization, and much more. Ultimately, we found out that the most important thing is our customers, and getting things done the way they want. That is why it’s a key part of our mission statement:

Our Team

Peter Hsieh

Peter was born and raised in San Diego. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from USC. After working as a Software Engineer for 2 years, he followed his passion for web by starting Tailwind. Peter is big on family, church, sports and gadgets/technology.

Johnny Lin

Johnny grew up in San Diego and headed a couple hours north to attend UCLA. Other than designing and coding, he loves his family and friends, his church, his Chargers, and last, but not least, his movie news.

Wen Zou

Born in Shenyang, China, Wen was blessed with the chance to come to the US at a young age, where he studied at UCLA for his B.S. and M.S. He loves to attend church and play sports.
